I recently bought an HP Envy x360, my first laptop upgrade in a very long time, and as we have now implemented a Work-From-Home policy, I needed the ability to hook up to several monitors and use an Ethernet connection (surprise, this laptop doesn't have an Ethernet port!) So, after doing some researching, I picked this dock. This dock just works, without any driver installs or any issues of any kind. And this is on both Windows 10 and Fedora 31 Linux. I had Windows until I got it set up the rest of the way for my normal workflow, and I have to say, it does the job exceedingly well on both platforms. The USB Type-C connection to the laptop provides connectivity as well as charges the laptop, which is fantastic. Monitor support works great with my multiple monitors, USB connectivity with those ports is fast and I don't see any difference in performance that matters to my workflow. Plus, of course, the Ethernet connection is stable and reliable.I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has a laptop that it's compatible with, which should be -most- Windows/Linux devices with a USB Type-C 3.0+ port / Thunderbolt port. Can't speak to MacOS or Chrome OS though.
