There is a layer of wax covering on the leather which cause the item look whitish—which is said to wear off with time. So the white wax like coloring is not an issue. My item has some gentle lines on the front cover, which is kind of like the wrinkle on people’s skin, and cannot disappear with time. But the back cover is perfect without any lines. I wonder why they did not pick the back cover leather and place it to the front cover. This is why I give it 4 stars instead of 5. But otherwise the product is well made and has a lot of accessories that come with it, which is really nice.
